PRO CAREER: 2002 - perfect season with 20 out of 20 point after touchdowns and 10 out of 10 field goals for a 50 point total. Rewarded with an invite to training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the summer of 2002. 2001 - led the league in points scored, with a season high 64 . . . was 16 for 16 on PATs and 16 of 19 on field goals. Earned national player of the week honours. Enjoyed stellar season in 2000, leading league in PATs again (34/34), netting 55 total points and seven of 11 field goals. 1999 - scored 56 points (second on team). Hit 8 of 12 field goals in his first season with the Claymores and 32 point after touchdown conversions … Bare-footed joined the Claymores from the Monarchs where he debuted in the NFL Europe League in 1998 … Second in team in scoring in 1998 with 28 points scored from 19 PATs and three field goals. COLLEGE: Began playing in 1990 for the Eastleigh Royals and Southern Sun Devils junior teams where he also played quarterback and cornerback...in the British college league, he starred for the Sheffield Zulus...also played for the GB national youth team...in a bid to further his football career, he wrote to 25 American colleges and asked for tryouts. Decided to take up Murray State's offer and became a walk-on in 1995, earning a scholarship for the following year from the Division 1-AA school in the Ohio Valley Conference...among his many college achievements for the Racers was kicking a 36-yard field goal to beat Eastern Kentucky 17-14 as time expired, a 52-yard field goal, the first kicker in the conference to score over 100 points, five field goals in a game to tie the school record, 1997 pre-season All-American at 1-AA level and 1996-97 first-team all-conference in the Ohio Valley Conference. Played for GB Lions in Euro qualifier victory over France.
PERSONAL: Originally from Southampton, Rob currently lives Glasgow ...didn't play American football until he was 16...supports the New York Jets and West Ham United...born November 4th 1974. Kicked off the season for the Super Bowl-winning Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002 in a pre-season game against the Miami Dolphins at the Raymond James Stadium.
