Summer Camps Heat Up
THE Claymores will be running a FREE Flag football summer camp alongside their successful Tackle camp for the first time this August. New recruits and experienced players alike between the ages of 10 and 15 are invited to attend the camp at Glasgow Green Football Centre in the heart of Glasgow on the afternoons of Monday 9th til Thursday the 12th of August.Flag football is the non-contact introductory form of American football that has all the skills and thrills of the tackle game. Their will be some crossover coaching with the Tackle camp so young Flag players will benefit from hands on instruction from NFL Europe National players and top coaches before breaking off for Flag fun with qualified Flag Leaders

The Claymores are not the only organisation to be giving kids the opportunity to learn the game through Flag Football. The Grangemouth Broncos and the Dundee Storm are two teams who are bringing the sport to their areas in conjunction with their local authority.
