Claymores' Miller Cheerleaders 'Touchdown' at Download
The Miller Scottish Claymores Cheerleaders are preparing to rock the party at Glasgow Green this week.
The girls will be rocking the VIP area at the Miller-sponsored Download Music Festival on Wednesday and Thursday.They have been busy preparing dynamic routines to music by the headlining acts - Linkin Park, Metallica, Korn and Slipknot, and will be entertaining the VIPs in between the acts on the main stage.
They've even been made over to look like grungy rock chicks by U Concept salon in Glasgow's West End.
Cheerleader Elaine is looking forward to the event - "It's so exciting. They will make us look the part and we will hear the biggest rock acts in the world perform live. This is a great opportunity to show that we can fit with any occasion!"
Download is the biggest rock music event ever to hit Scotland. Rock royalty Metallica, alongside Linkin Park and a host of other metal bands, are making a rare appearance in the country before they move south to headline the Download festival at Donnington this weekend.
The cheerleaders will be appearing in the Miller VIP area.
