They took part in the pregame entertainment at the CIS Cup Final at Hampden Park recently, which was the rookies’ first experience of the Hampden Roar.
Extra training and last-minute polishing ensured a good performance, and helped the squad get closer to being ready for our own games.
The girls will be back on the same turf on April 18 and they can’t wait.
Line captain Pamela said, “It’s nice to perform in front of a big crowd at a football final, but the thing we are looking forward to is the first Claymores home game.

New additions to the cheer squad this year include the Mini Mores junior team and the all-new Stunt Squad.
“We’ve been working very hard, giving up two weeknights and our weekends, but it will be worth it when we get out there and win our first home game!” says veteran cheerleader Linda.
“It’ll be our crowd, our team and our show – I can’t wait.”
