Cheerleaders get ready for an action-packed Children in Need

The Claymores Cheerleaders are set to heat up the airwaves this Friday (November 21) with a Children In Need double at BBC Scotland

The Claymores cheerleaders will help on Children in Need night
The girls will help kick off the charity bonanza with an appearance on Friday morning on the Fred and Gary Show - a Children In Need special on BBC Radio Scotland with presenters Fred MacAulay and Gary Robertson. They will start the on-air bidding on an auction of the cheerleaders themselves!

They are offering an appearance by Scotland's top cheerleaders at someone's workplace Christmas Party.

The highest bidder will win an all-singing, all-dancing Christmas show from the Claymores Cheerleaders.

Pledges will be accepted all day and the highest bidder will win the cheerleaders!

And the fun doesn't stop there. When the telethon kicks off on BBC 1 in the evening, thirteen of our girls will be helping the fun along in the television studios.

They are set to model some auction items donated by sports clubs and hope to help raise lots of money along the way.

Cheerleader Elaine Ruddie can't wait, "We love getting involved in Children In Need. It's always loads of fun and we love to help any cause involving children.

"Whoever wins the cheerleader show is in for a great piece of entertainment."

It has been a busy month for the 2004 cheer squad. Since the final squad was chosen at tryouts in October, the girls have been in constant demand for fashion shows, dance workshops and photoshoots.

"We are having a great time", says Elaine, "We are training hard and making appearances all over the place.

"Things are really exciting in the Claymores Cheer squad right now. "We can't wait for the season to come!"
