The Scottish Claymores Cheerleaders brought some Christmas cheer to the children on the orthopaedic wards at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow

The Claymores visit Yorkhill
Cheerleaders Linzi, Pamela, Elaine, Stephanie, Gillian and Louise spent an afternoon last week performing a special Christmas show with singing, dancing and some carol singing which was enthusiastically received by the children.

The youngsters also got to meet Claymores legend Scott Couper and witness a rare dance performance from mischievous mascot Hamish.

The afternoon was rounded off with some Claymores Christmas presents handed out by Hamish and the cheerleaders.

Cheerleader Pamela said: "It was great fun to spread a bit of good cheer at this time of year, fortunately most of the children we met would be going home for Christmas, even if it was just for the day itself, but we wanted all the young people in the hospital to know we are thinking of them."
