Scottish Team Makes it to the Bowl

While Scottish Claymores fans are excitedly awaiting World Bowl XI and backing the Claymores to the Bowl, another Scottish team is already there. The STIRLING CLANSMEN, Stirling University's College team, have fought their way to the College Bowl final. After battling the Staffordshire Stallions 25-15 at semi final stage, the team will now be representing Scotland against the HERTFORDSHIRE HURRICANES in this years College Bowl.


Stirling aim to bring the trophy up to Scotland
The final takes place at the Dewsbury Rams Stadium this Sunday, 30th March 2003, at 1.30pm.

Scottish Claymores Grassroots Assistant, James Burns, said "the success of the Stirling Clansmen demonstrates the continued growth and success of American football in Scotland, reaching the final is a tremendous honour both for the team and for Scotland, I wish them luck for their final on Sunday.
