Ayrshire Qualifier
St Joseph's Academy in Ayrshire will be the destination of a fierce flag football battle on Tuesday 27th May, as eight teams fight to qualify for a place in the Scottish Claymores Bowl IV. The eight teams competing are all local Ayrshire teams and include Grange, Cumnock and the Valley Invaders.The winner will hope that this is merely the first step on a qualifying journey that could see them play at the World Flag Championships later this year in Tokyo.
Claymores grassroots assistant Jim Burns said " We're glad to be holding this qualifier. It's the culmination of some great work done in the Ayrshire region thanks to our connections with Kilmarnock's Centre for Sporting Excellence."
