European youngsters book tickets to Japan; Holland's Arcus Knights win European School Final
ARCUS KNIGHTS, of the Netherlands, were crowned flag football champions of Europe ahead of World Bowl XI in Scotland at the weekend after winning the European School Final.

Joining the Dutch youngsters in Japan will be Austria's SHS Air Force Graz and IES Pere Vives, of Spain.
The Netherlands emerged victorious at Glasgow's Holyrood High School as they defeated the Austrian team 58-27 in the final. Spain's IES Pere Vives booked the final spot on the plane to Japan as they won the third/fourth place playoff with Germany's Neuss Fire Wolves 34-26.
Netherland's head coach ERIK HAGEN said: "We trained hard for this since October and I am very proud of my team. We are excited to represent Europe during the NFL Flag Football World Championship in Japan, but first we will celebrate our victory in Scotland."
Austria head coach BERNIE MANDEL added: "The Netherlands were the dominating team of the tournament - they were unbeatable. But we are very pleased with our performance and looking forward to the trip of a lifetime to Japan."
Spain's PEDRO VALIVIESO FERRANDIZ concluded: "I am very pleased with the outcome and we will be glad to represent Europe in Japan."
The hometown Carluke Predators, of Scotland, finished fifth in the tournament behind Germany and ended their day with a thrilling 54-53 victory over Finland that was decided on the game's final play.
Denmark's Laessoesgades School from Aarhus ranked sixth, with A.S. Flag of Paris, France, finishing seventh. Finland's Kastelli School ended the day winless in eighth place.
The three European teams heading to Japan will take on the best young flag football players in the world from USA, Canada, Japan, Thailand, Mexico, Korea and Australia.
