The Finals Show takes place this Sunday, October 19th, at 2pm at the newly refurbished Garage nightclub on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.

  • A pile of CDs signed by the artists themselves including Lisa Scott Lee, Abs and the Cheeky Girls from our friends at HMV
  • Two bottles of Auchentoshan's finest whisky
  • Your favourite photo blown up to giant poster size by the Color Co
  • A winter's supply of revolutionary spray-on Magic Tan sessions
  • Tickets to top sports and music events
  • Claymores merchandise

To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is show up and support our 43 finalists. The finals group was chosen from over 90 candidates who attended preliminary auditions on October 4th. Since the preliminaries the girls have attended training sessions and undergone gruelling fitness tests to ensure they are fit for the cheerleaders' three hour dance marathons at each of our home games. Finalists went through a cardio bleep test, followed by procedures more akin to the player tryouts - broad jumps, sit and reach tests and body mass composition testing. These results plus the performance in the finalists' dance audition and talent presentation will help the judges make their final cuts.

Making up this years judging panel are: new Miss Scotland, Nicola Jolly, Des Clarke presenter on SM:TV and Beat 106 Breakfast show, his co-presenter Babs, Clyde 1's Adrian Coll, Matt Bendoris from The Scottish Sun, representatives from Claymores sponsors Enterprise and Healthland, Claymores Operations Director Kenny Falconer, Phil Marshall from Sky Sports and a surprise soccer guest.

The hopefuls will perform a dance routine they learned in training and then each will put on a one-minute talent presentation of singing, dancing or anything that shows us they've got what it takes to make it onto the 2004 Scottish Claymores squad.

The final squad will be announced on the day.

Doors open 1.30pm, show starts at 2pm.
