BAFL Schedule Announced
The BAFL Schedule has been confirmed and once again Scotland will boast 5 teams competing in cross border competition.In Division 1 the East Kilbride Pirates will face off against Birmingham Bulls, Doncaster Mustangs and Gateshead Senators and will play Div 1a Nottingham Caesars, Coventry Jets , Yorkshire Rams and Staffordshire Surge.
Meanwhile in the Scottish Conference of Division 2 Dundee Hurricanes, Edinburgh Wolves, Glasgow Tigers and the West Coast Trojans will battle it out amongst each other with three games against each of the others. With a 10th game featuring cross boarder competition in the form of road trips for Edinburgh (to Manchester Titans) and Glasgow (to Merseyside Nighthawks) and home games for Dundee (against Manchester) and West Coast (against Merseyside).
The very first game of the BAFL season kicks off on Sunday 30th of April at Jack Kane Centre, Edinburgh with the Edinburgh Wolves hosting the defending Scottish conference Champions with a 1pm kick off.
This game marks the first time in league history that two Scottish Teams will kick off the season for the rest of the league. The regular season concludes on the 27th of August with the Play offs featuring the top two teams from the Scottish Conference on the 3rd of September. The Division 1 & 1a play offs will also start the same weekend and could include the East Kilbride Pirates if results go well.
