Nall, who starred with the Claymores in 2003, became the fifth former NFL Europe League quarterback to throw a touchdown pass in the 2004 season. He came into the game following three costly interceptions by starting quarterback Brett Favre - who had suffered a concussion in the team's Week Four loss to the New York Giants.

Seeing his first action for the Packers as their backup quarterback following a season-ending rib injury suffered by Doug Pederson (NY-NJ 1992/Rhein 1995), Nall took his first regular season snaps for the team on their final possession of the game. The former Claymore seven of his eight pass attempts for 64 yards, hitting receiver Javon Walker for a 1-yard score to cap a well executed drive that took just 1:39.

At the Claymores, Nall completed 151 of 258 passes for 2050 yards with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions to record a 95.9 passer rating.
