LT Hits Crucial Kicks in K.C. Victory

SCOTTISH kicker LAWRENCE TYNES played a crucial part in securing the Kansas City Chiefs first win of the NFL season on Monday night.

Greenock born Tynes hit two field goals and three PATs as the 0-3 Chiefs upset the Baltimore Ravens 27-24.

The former Claymores kicker converted a 42-yard field goal in the first quarter before connecting on a 38-yard field goal to move the Chiefs 20-17 ahead of the Ravens midway through the third quarter.

Tynes capped a solid performance converting Priest Holmes one-yard touchdown run at the start of the fourth quarter allowing the Chiefs to hold on for the 27-24 victory.

Former Claymores returner and wide receiver DANTE HALL also played his part in the Chiefs first win of the season after almost being ruled out with a painful lip injury he suffered in last weekend's loss to the Houston Texans.

Hall returned two kick-offs for 44 yards and caught two passes for 24 yards.
