Claymores 2003 tight end ROD TRAFFORD has been signed by the Philadelphia Eagles to their practice squad, while 2004 tackle MORGAN PEARS has been added to the New York Giants practice squad.
Ogden, who starred with the Claymores in 2003, was released from the Jacksonville Jaguars prior to the start of the current NFL season, which kicked off two weeks ago.
However, the AFC Ravens moved quickly to sign the 6 foot, 5 inch, 300lbs offensive lineman teaming him up with his famous brother Jonathan on the Ravens roster.
Marques started seven games with the Jack Bicknell coached Claymores this past NFL Europe League season, before suffering a season-ending ankle injury during the Week 7 visit to Frankfurt Galaxy.
At 6'9', 340 lbs, his older brother Jonathan is a perennial starter with the Ravens, and is currently in his ninth season with the club. He has been selected to seven Pro Bowls and was the first player ever selected by the Ravens in the draft.
Marques has been allocated to the Ravens practice squad. The Ogden brothers share the same offensive line position at tackle.
Fans in the U.K. will be able to watch Marques' new team, and brother Jonathan in action, as the Ravens visit the Cincinnati Bengals live on Sky Sports from 6pm. Following that match Claymores fans will be able to watch former offensive lineman MARCO RIVERA in action for the Green Bay Packers as they visit the Indianapolis Colts.
The eagerly anticipated match-up between Bills Parcells' Dallas Cowboys and Joe Gibbs' Washington Redskins, featuring former Claymores cornerback TODD FRANZ will be broadcast live on Channel 5 from 1am on Tuesday morning.
A total of 13 former Claymores will be on active duty for their teams this weekend, when Week 3 of the NFL season action gets underway.
A major focus will be on Claymores' World Bowl 2000 MVP AARON STECKER, now playing in New Orleans. Stecker looks set to get the starting nod for the Saints against the St. Louis Rams after Pro Bowl running back Deuce McAllister suffered an ankle sprain in last week's win to the San Francisco 49ers.
Stecker contributed 41 yards on 15 carries and Saints head coach Jim Haslett will be looking for more from the former Claymores favourite.
